Everything starts with an idea. The idea grows while talking about and sharing the idea with others. When Brian discovered that May played saxophone, he suggested a saxophone quartet. He was instrumental in getting the quartet started. He knew of other experienced saxophonists and had some quartet music. And so, a year ago the Elm Street Saxophone Quartet was born. All of the quartet members have high levels of expertise on saxophone having studied with many of the Great Saxophonists in Montreal.
The Elm Street Saxophone Quartet plays a variety of music for the audience; from Jazz to Classical to Traditional music.
The Elms Street Saxophone Quartet contributes to the community by playing at various fundraisers for local organizations around the West Island throughout the year.
